ACT oranssi 2 metriä U/UTP CAT6A patch-kaapeli, lukituskieleltä suojattu, RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Orange 2 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable with RJ45 connectors is designed for high-speed wired networks where reliable 10 Gbps data transmission and clear cable identification are required. The cable uses U/UTP construction and complies with CAT6A performance characteristics to support modern Ethernet standards. Snagless RJ45 plugs and gold-plated contacts provide stable connections and reduced contact resistance across frequent insertions and removals.

Advantages

The cable supports high data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps and is suitable for demanding network environments. Its orange jacket improves visibility in patch panels and cable runs, simplifying identification and maintenance. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation in tight spaces, while gold-plated contacts offer corrosion resistance and reliable signal transmission. The 2 meter length provides a balance between reach and tidy cable management for desk-to-switch or switch-to-patch-panel connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting workstations to switches in offices and home offices
• Patch panel to switch connections in server rooms and network closets
• High-speed Ethernet links for multimedia streaming and file transfers
• Environments requiring visible cable identification and organized cable runs

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6A (augmented)
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatible, supports up to 10 Gbps
• Cable construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair, overall unshielded)
• Connectors: RJ45 on both ends, snagless design
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Length: 2 m
• Colour: orange for enhanced visibility

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding RJ45 port on network devices until the latch clicks into place. Use the 2 meter length to connect desktop devices to wall outlets, switches to patch panels, or adjacent network equipment while maintaining tidy cable routing. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and do not apply sharp kinks to the cable to preserve transmission performance. For removal, depress the latch on the RJ45 plug and gently pull the connector straight out.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference such as power lines or large electrical equipment. Maintain recommended bend radii and avoid stretching the cable. Use color-coded cables like this orange cable to simplify network documentation and fault finding in multi-cable installations.
