ACT oranssi 20 metriä U/UTP CAT6A patch-kaapeli snagless RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Orange 20 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable provides a 20 m connection for Ethernet networks using U/UTP CAT6A construction. It features RJ45 connectors with a snagless design and gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transmission and reduce contact corrosion. The bright orange jacket makes individual cable runs easy to trace in racks and cable trays while supporting high-speed data transfer suitable for modern network environments.

Advantages

This U/UTP CAT6A patch cable offers backwards compatibility with lower category ports while delivering performance for high-speed 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug tab during installation and handling, and gold-plated contacts help ensure consistent contact quality and lower contact resistance. The 20 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across larger rooms or between racks without splicing or additional joins. The orange colour improves cable management and visual identification in crowded installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office and data centre networks
• Structured cabling between wall outlets and active equipment where a 20 m run is required
• Temporary or permanent installations that require clear visual identification of network runs

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) compatible
• Cable category: U/UTP CAT6A
• Product colour: Orange

How to use

Inspect the cable and connectors for any visible damage before use. Align the RJ45 plug with the device port and insert until the connector latches securely; the snagless design reduces the chance of tab breakage during insertion and removal. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges to maintain signal integrity. When removing, depress the connector tab and pull the plug straight out to avoid stress on the cable and connector.

Recommendations

Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment to minimise electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories and avoid exceeding recommended bend radius to preserve CAT6A performance characteristics.
