ACT oranssi 5 metrin U/UTP CAT5E patch-kaapeli RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Orange 5 meter U/UTP CAT5E patch cable with RJ45 connectors provides reliable wired network connectivity for home and office environments. It is a 5 m unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) CAT5e cable with AWG#24 conductors, PVC sheath and gold-plated RJ45 contacts. The cable is colored orange (RAL 2000) for easy identification and supports data transmission up to 100 MHz.

Advantages

This CAT5e patch cable offers stable signal transmission at up to 100 MHz and is constructed with AWG#24 conductors for consistent electrical performance. The PVC sheath ensures mechanical protection and flexibility, while gold-plated RJ45 connectors improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The orange RAL 2000 colour aids cable management and visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within local area networks
• Patching between wall outlets and patch panels
• Office and home network installations where 5 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT5E
• Length: 5 m
• Bandwidth: 100 MHz
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Sheath material: PVC
• Connector: RJ45 with gold plating
• Colour: Orange (RAL 2000)

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device (switch, router or computer) and the other into the corresponding port or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference. For best results, maintain appropriate cable separation from power lines and avoid excessive tension on the cable.

Recommendations

Use this CAT5e patch cable for standard Ethernet connections up to 100 MHz (typically 100BASE-TX). For environments requiring higher bandwidth or shielded protection, consider higher-category (CAT6/CAT6A) or shielded cables.
