ACT ruskea 1,5 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datakeskuksen Slimline -patchkaapeli lukituskielekkeetön RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Brown 1.5m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a slimline datacenter Ethernet patch cord with a 1.5 meter length, LSZH jacket and snagless RJ45 connectors. The U/FTP shielding and CAT6A specification support high-speed data transmission while the reduced 3.8 mm diameter improves cable routing and airflow inside server racks and network cabinets compared with regular CAT6A patch cords.

Advantages

This slimline CAT6A U/FTP cable has a smaller diameter than standard CAT6A cords, providing a lower bending radius and better airflow in dense rack environments. The snagless RJ45 plugs and gold-plated contacts ensure reliable mating and reduced contact corrosion. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire. Although slimmer 32 AWG conductors increase attenuation at higher frequencies compared with 22–26 AWG cords, they enable tighter cable bundling and space savings in datacenters.

Suitable for

• High-density datacenter and server-rack patching
• Network cabinets with limited space and airflow concerns
• Short-run connections between switches, patch panels and servers

Key specifications

• Length: 1.5 m
• Standard: CAT6A, U/FTP
• Diameter: slimline (approx. 3.8 mm)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Color: Brown

How to use

Plug the snagless RJ45 connectors into compatible RJ45 ports on switches, patch panels or network devices. Route the slimline cable through the rack or cabinet to minimize bend radius and avoid sharp kinks. For best performance, keep cable runs within structured cabling guidelines and avoid excessive tension or crushing of the cable.

Recommendations

ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 slimline CAT6A cables for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications to limit temperature rise. The ANSI TSB-184-A standard recommends that the temperature increase for the center cable in a bundle remain less than 15 °C above ambient. Take into account that 32 AWG slimline conductors produce higher attenuation at higher frequencies compared with 22–26 AWG cords.
