ACT ruskea 5 metriä LSZH U/UTP CAT6 Datacenter Slimline -verkkokaapeli RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Brown 5 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a slim-diameter Ethernet patch cord designed for data center and network cabinet use. With a 3.8 mm diameter and LSZH jacket, this CAT6 U/UTP cable supports high-speed transmission while reducing bundle volume and improving airflow in server racks. The cable uses 28 AWG conductors, gold-plated RJ45 contacts and comes in a 5 m length with brown colouring.

Advantages

The slimline construction offers a smaller bending radius and reduced diameter compared with regular CAT6 patch cords, which helps increase rack airflow and save space. LSZH jacket material reduces hazardous smoke and corrosive gas emission in case of fire, and gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide corrosion resistance and reliable signal contact. Although the 28 AWG conductors produce higher attenuation at higher frequencies than thicker gauges, the cable meets practical requirements for many datacenter patching scenarios.

How to use

Route the slimline CAT6 patch cable between your switch, patch panel or network device and ensure connectors are fully inserted into the RJ45 ports until they click. Avoid sharp bends tighter than the recommended bending radius and do not overstress the snagless boot during insertion or removal. For neat cable management in racks, group runs using cable management accessories while keeping bundle sizes within recommended limits for power-over-Ethernet deployments.

Recommendations

Use a maximum bundle size of 24 cables for PoE applications to limit temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends keeping the center cable temperature increase under 15 °C above ambient. Consider the higher attenuation of 28 AWG at high frequencies when planning longer runs or high-bandwidth applications.
