ACT vihreä 10 metrin U/UTP CAT6 patch-kaapeli RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Green 10 meter U/UTP CAT6 RJ45 patch cable is a 10 m networking lead designed for copper Ethernet connections up to gigabit speeds. It uses CAT6 twisted-pair construction with U/UTP topology and gold-plated RJ45 connectors to maintain signal continuity and reduce contact resistance. The cable's green jacket provides clear visual identification in structured cabling installations and patch panels.

Advantages

This cable provides reliable data transmission for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks thanks to CAT6 performance and consistent pair geometry. Gold-plated RJ45 plugs improve contact quality and corrosion resistance, while the U/UTP design helps limit alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference in typical office and home environments. The 10 meter length balances reach and manageability for patching between racks, wall outlets, and workstations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in small and medium network racks
• Linking desktop computers, printers and IP phones to wall outlets
• Temporary or permanent cabling between network equipment in offices and labs
• Home network setups and gigabit internet connections

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Cabling standard: CAT6, U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall jacket)
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (gigabit Ethernet)
• Connectors: RJ45 to RJ45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to a network device (switch, router, computer NIC or wall socket) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. For rack installations, use cable management panels or ties to maintain order and prevent damage.

Recommendations

Use the ACT Green CAT6 patch cable for typical office and home Ethernet connections where U/UTP performance and clear visual identification are required. Avoid tight bending radii and protect connectors during installation. For environments with high electromagnetic interference or where additional shielding is necessary, consider shielded cable variants.
