ACT violetti 0,15 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter-slimline-patchkaapeli, RJ45-liittimillä ja taittumissuojalla

ACT Purple 0.15m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a slimline CAT6A patch cord with U/FTP shielding and LSZH jacket, designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and network racks. With a 0.15 m length and snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, this purple cable offers a reduced diameter compared with standard CAT6A cords to save space and improve airflow in densely packed cabinets.

Advantages

The slimline 3.8 mm diameter reduces required bend radius and increases rack airflow versus regular 5.9 mm CAT6A patch cords. U/FTP shielding helps maintain signal integrity while the LSZH jacket reduces smoke and hazardous gas emission in case of fire. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the connector latch during installation and gold-plated contacts provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and top-of-rack connections
• High-density network cabinets and blade server environments
• Short patch runs between switches, patch panels and servers
• Installations requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT6A U/FTP
• Length: 0.15 m
• Cable diameter: slimline ~3.8 mm (vs ~5.9 mm for regular CAT6A)
• Jacket material: LSZH
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Purple

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the switch, patch panel or network device and the other end to the corresponding port. Route the slimline cable through cable management and maintain gentle bends respecting the reduced bend radius; avoid sharp kinks. For highest performance, ensure connectors are fully seated and devices support CAT6A links.

Recommendations

For PoE deployments, limit bundled cables to a maximum of 24 in a single bundle to avoid excessive temperature rise; this follows ACT guidance and aligns with ANSI TSB-184-A which restricts temperature increase to less than 15 °C above ambient for the center cable. Note that using very thin conductors (such as 32 AWG) increases attenuation at higher frequencies; observe run lengths and test links after installation.
