ACT violetti 2 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter-slimline-patchkaapeli, lukituskieleke ja RJ45-liittimet

The ACT Purple 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable RJ45 is a slimline datacenter cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. With a 2 m length, snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, this purple LSZH cable provides reliable signal transmission and reduced interference while meeting indoor safety requirements for low smoke and toxic emissions.

Advantages

The slimline design (approximately 3.8 mm diameter) offers a smaller bending radius than standard CAT6A patch cords, improving airflow inside server racks and network cabinets. U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ45 plugs ensure stable connectivity and corrosion resistance. LSZH jacket material minimizes smoke and toxic fumes in the event of a fire.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port on your switch, patch panel or device and the other plug to the corresponding port. Route the 2 m cable along rack guides or cable management channels, avoiding sharp bends that exceed the cable's bending radius. For PoE deployments follow bundle size recommendations to limit heating. Verify connectivity and link speed after installation.

Recommendations

Use slimline CAT6A cables like this ACT Purple patch cord in high-density rack environments to improve airflow. When deploying Power over Ethernet (PoE), limit bundled slimline cables to a maximum of 24 per bundle to keep temperature rise within the guideline of ANSI TSB-184-A (less than 15°C above ambient for the centre cable).
