ACT violetti 5 m LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter-slimline-patchkaapeli, rastnasenfrei, RJ45-liittimillä

ACT Purple 5 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a slimline datacenter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections. With a 5 m length, LSZH jacket and U/UTP CAT6 construction, it offers a reduced diameter compared with regular CAT6 patch cords to support improved airflow in server racks and network cabinets.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter lowers the bending radius and occupies less space than standard 5.9 mm CAT6 cords, helping to improve airflow and cable management in dense installations. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the clip during installation. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emissions in case of fire. While thinner 28 AWG conductors are used compared with common 22–26 AWG cords, the cable remains compliant for typical patching use with a trade-off of higher attenuation at higher frequencies.

How to use

Route the ACT Purple CAT6 slimline cable between network devices, switches and patch panels using standard cable management accessories. Insert RJ45 connectors into corresponding ports until the clip clicks; the snagless design protects the latch during installation and removal. Avoid sharp bends tighter than the specified bending radius and maintain separation from high-power electrical cables where possible. For PoE deployments, follow bundling guidance to control temperature rise.

Recommendations

For Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, limit bundled cable groups to a maximum of 24 slimline cables to reduce temperature increase. Note that the 28 AWG construction results in higher attenuation at higher frequencies compared with thicker 22–26 AWG patch cords; consider this when planning long patch runs or high-frequency requirements.
