Active Optical -kaapeli DeLOCK 83213 USB 10 Gbps Type-A Micro-B 10 m

This Active Optical Cable by DELOCK (model 83213) connects devices with a Micro-USB B (Micro-B) 10 Gbps connector to a PC or laptop with a free USB Type-A port. The cable is 10 m long, uses an optical fiber core for signal transmission and provides a secure mechanical connection with screws on the Micro-USB connector to prevent accidental unplugging.

Advantages

The optical fiber design enables high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps) data transfer over longer distances than copper cables while remaining thinner, lighter and more flexible. The cable jacket is made of durable NBR material, which increases flexibility and resistance to wear and makes the cable suitable for use in drag chains and demanding environments. The Type-A to Micro-B configuration supports backward compatibility with lower-speed USB devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB 3.2 Gen 2 / USB 10 Gbps compatible devices to computers or laptops
• Long-distance USB data transmission where copper cables would suffer signal loss
• Environments requiring flexible and durable cabling, such as drag chains or industrial setups

How to use

Connect the USB Type-A plug to an available USB port on your PC or laptop and fasten the Micro-USB B connector to the target device, using the screws on the connector to secure the connection. Ensure both connected devices support the required USB mode for maximum data rates; if not, the connection will operate at the highest mutually supported USB speed. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and do not apply excessive force when fastening the screws.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for high-speed data transfer between compatible devices and route it without tight bends or kinks. Check device compatibility with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) when maximum throughput is required. Regularly inspect the NBR jacket for wear if used in moving installations.
