Active Optical -kaapeli DELOCK USB-C - DisplayPort 30 m (malli 81609)

The Active Optical Cable DELOCK USB-C to DisplayPort 30 m provides a single-cable solution to transmit video signals from a USB-C source to a DisplayPort monitor or projector over long distances. Using optical transmission, the cable maintains signal integrity across a 30-meter run while reducing electromagnetic interference and limiting signal attenuation common with long copper cables. The cable supports conversion from USB-C video output to DisplayPort input without external power supplies or repeaters when used within supported device specifications.

Advantages

This active optical cable enables reliable long-distance video delivery with minimal signal degradation and lower susceptibility to electromagnetic interference compared with traditional copper cables. Its one-cable design simplifies installation between USB-C devices and DisplayPort displays or projectors. The optical fiber core keeps the cable lightweight and flexible for routing in ceilings, floors, or through conduits typical in AV installations and conference rooms.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or workstations with USB-C video output to DisplayPort monitors at long distances
• AV installations in conference rooms, lecture halls, or auditoriums
• Digital signage and display walls where long cable runs are required
• Projector connections in large meeting spaces or classrooms

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active optical cable with USB-C to DisplayPort connectors
• Length: 30 meters
• Transmission medium: Optical fiber core for long-distance video signal transmission
• Compatibility: USB-C video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) to DisplayPort input on displays and projectors
• EMI immunity: Reduced electromagnetic interference compared to copper cables
• Physical characteristics: Flexible, lightweight cable suitable for routing in AV installations

How to use

Connect the USB-C plug to a source device that supports USB-C video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) and insert the DisplayPort plug into the display or projector input. Power on the source and display, then select the appropriate input on the display if necessary. The cable uses active optical conversion internally; no external power supply or repeater is typically required when used with compliant devices. Verify resolution and refresh rate support on both source and display to ensure optimal performance.

Recommendations

Place the cable away from sharp bends and excessive tension to avoid stress on the optical fiber. Confirm that the USB-C source supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and that the display accepts the incoming video format and resolution. For permanent installations, allow gentle service loops at termination points and protect connectors from dust and moisture.
