Adapteri ShiverPeaks TAE-F RJ45-liitäntään 0,2 m 4-johtiminen kaapeli

The ShiverPeaks Adapter TAE-F to RJ45 Coupling with a 0.2 m 4‑wire cable converts a TAE‑F telephone connection into an RJ45 interface. It is intended for connecting legacy TAE telephone devices or handsets to equipment that uses RJ45 telephony or patch panels. The compact form factor and short cable make it suitable for tidy desktop or wall‑mounted installations where space is limited.

Advantages

This adapter offers a simple, passive conversion between TAE‑F and RJ45 without requiring additional power or configuration. The 0.2 m length reduces cable clutter and keeps connections close to the device, while the four‑wire wiring supports standard analog telephone signals. The compact coupling design fits into constrained mounting locations and facilitates quick, reversible connections when upgrading or migrating telephony equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy TAE‑F telephones or handsets to RJ45‑based telephony equipment
• Short patch connections between wall sockets and desk phones
• Temporary or permanent adaptations during telephony infrastructure migration
• Space‑constrained installations where a short cable and compact coupling are required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.2 m
• Wiring: 4 conductors (standard analog telephone wiring)
• Connector A: TAE‑F plug
• Connector B: RJ45 coupling
• Color: black
• Passive adapter; no power required

How to use

Insert the TAE‑F plug into the telephone device or handset socket and connect the RJ45 coupling to the RJ45 cable or socket on the telephony equipment. Ensure the contacts are fully seated to maintain reliable signal transmission. For wall‑mounted installations, route the short cable so it does not create tension on the connectors. No configuration or drivers are required; the adapter operates as a passive wiring translation for analog signals.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for short‑distance connections only; for longer runs, use appropriately rated patch cables or dedicated adapters. Verify pinout compatibility between the TAE‑F device and the target RJ45 equipment before permanent installation to avoid miswiring. Keep the adapter and cable dry and free from mechanical strain to preserve contact integrity.
