Adapteri USB Type-C-uros 2,5 Gigabit LAN kompakti DeLOCK 66645

The DeLOCK Adapter USB Type-C male to 2.5 Gigabit LAN compact (model 66645) is a compact USB Type-C to RJ45 network adapter that adds a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port to a PC or laptop. It connects via a USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 interface and provides a faster wired network option using standard Ethernet cabling.

Advantages

This adapter supports NBASE-T technology to achieve higher throughput—automatically negotiating up to 2.5 Gbps while remaining compatible with 1 Gbps networks and conventional cabling. Its short 0.16 m integrated cable and compact black housing make it portable and easy to carry with mobile devices. The adapter uses a USB Type-C plug for direct connection and an RJ45 socket for standard wired networks.

Suitable for

• Upgrading laptops or PCs without a built-in 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port
• Home or small office users who need higher wired network speeds than 1 Gbps
• Mobile workers who require reliable wired connectivity via USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3
• Connecting devices to NAS, routers, or switches that support multi-gigabit Ethernet

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB Type-C (male)
• Connector 2: LAN RJ45 (female)

The adapter will negotiate the highest supported link speed automatically. If required, install any manufacturer drivers or updates according to the device operating system instructions.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables to achieve reliable 1 Gbps and Cat5e/Cat6A or better for stable multi-gigabit performance; ensure the host port and network equipment support the chosen speed for full 2.5 Gbps throughput.
