Adapterikaapeli ShiverPeaks XLR–6,3 mm stereo BS55050 — XLR (naaras) – 6,3 mm TRS (stereo)

The ShiverPeaks BS55050 adapter cable converts a standard XLR connection to a 6.3 mm TRS stereo jack, enabling balanced XLR signals to be routed to equipment with a 6.3 mm stereo input. Designed for use with mixers, amplifiers, audio interfaces and stage gear, this adapter facilitates connection of microphone or line-level sources to devices that accept a TRS stereo jack. The cable supports balanced signal transfer from the XLR female connector to the stereo TRS plug.

Advantages

This adapter cable provides a compact and straightforward way to connect XLR-equipped sources to 6.3 mm TRS stereo inputs without requiring additional converters. It preserves balanced wiring at the XLR end and presents the signal on a TRS jack suitable for many audio consoles and amplifiers. The single-cable design reduces clutter and simplifies stage and studio patching while maintaining consistent mechanical compatibility between professional and consumer-style connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting microphones with XLR outputs to mixers or amplifiers with 6.3 mm TRS inputs
• Routing line-level balanced signals from outboard gear to devices with stereo TRS jacks
• Temporary stage patching and studio setups that require an XLR-to-TRS connection
• Audio interfaces or DI boxes that accept 6.3 mm stereo inputs

Key specifications

• Connector A: XLR female (3-pin)
• Connector B: 6.3 mm TRS stereo plug
• Signal type: Balanced XLR to TRS stereo
• Cable function: Adapter cable for microphone and line-level signals

How to use

Insert the XLR female connector onto the XLR male output of the microphone or source device until it locks. Plug the 6.3 mm TRS jack into the target input on the mixer, amplifier or interface. Confirm that the connected device is set to accept the expected signal level (microphone or line) and polarity. When using with balanced line-level sources, ensure proper gain staging on the receiving device to avoid distortion or low signal level. For temporary connections, secure the cable routing to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for short runs and patching between compatible equipment. Avoid using the adapter as a permanent solution in installations where full balanced wiring and proper differential inputs are required; consider a direct wired connection or a dedicated transformer/isolation solution for long-term professional installations.
