Adaptersarja ShiverPeaks 85397-SET10 — kumiholkki F-liittimelle, 10 kpl

ShiverPeaks 85397-SET10 is a set of 10 rubber boots designed to fit standard F-type coaxial connectors. These rubber grommets slide over the connector body and the cable jacket, providing a close-fitting seal that reduces the ingress of moisture and dust while offering additional mechanical protection. The compact design preserves connector accessibility and does not interfere with signal transmission when used with typical TV, satellite and cable coax installations.

Advantages

The rubber material offers flexibility and resilience to repeated handling and bending, improving strain relief at the cable-connector junction and reducing the risk of cable fatigue. The boots act as a barrier against contaminants and minor mechanical impacts, helping to prolong connector life and maintain reliable RF connections. Supplied as a pack of 10, the set is convenient for multi-point installations and maintenance tasks.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Sealing and protecting F-type coaxial connectors in TV antenna and satellite installations
• Cable management and strain relief on cable TV and broadband coax runs
• Preventing dust and moisture ingress in indoor and sheltered outdoor RF connections
• Maintenance and replacement in multi-connector setups, distribution panels, and wall plates

Key specifications

• Quantity: 10 pieces per set
• Connector type compatibility: F-type coaxial connectors
• Material: flexible rubber or elastomer (protective boot)
• Primary functions: moisture and dust protection, strain relief, mechanical protection
• Colour: typically black (may vary by production batch)
• Dimensions: compact sleeve design to fit standard F-connector bodies and cable jackets

How to use

Slide a rubber boot over the cable before attaching the F-connector, then crimp or screw the connector onto the cable as usual. After the connector is installed, slide the boot forward so it covers the connector body and rests against the cable jacket, ensuring a snug fit that increases strain relief and reduces exposure to dust and moisture. For existing installations, loosen the connector if required, slide the boot into position and retighten. Verify that the boot does not obstruct connector mating with devices or adapters.

Recommendations

Use the boots on standard-dimension F-connectors and avoid forcing them onto oversized or non-standard fittings. Inspect boots periodically for signs of wear or cracking if used in exposed environments, and replace individual boots as needed to maintain protection and strain relief.
