ADATA SE880 2 TB USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2) harmaa

The Elite SE880 is a compact external SSD designed for productivity on the go. It supports USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 via a Type-C port and delivers sequential read/write performance of up to 2000 MB/s in a small 28 cc enclosure — smaller than an AirPods case. The drive is suitable for tasks that require fast storage, such as A/V editing, running applications directly from the drive and storing large game libraries for compatible consoles.

Advantages

The Elite SE880 offers high transfer speeds thanks to USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 (up to 20 Gb/s), significantly reducing file transfer and load times compared with older USB standards and conventional external hard drives. Its compact form factor makes it easy to carry and hold in the palm of your hand, while the Type‑C interface ensures broad compatibility with modern laptops, consoles and mobile devices that support external NVMe storage.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 (Type‑C)
• Maximum throughput: up to 20 Gb/s
• Sequential read/write: up to 2000 MB/s
• Enclosure volume: 28 cc (smaller than an AirPods case)
• Use cases: A/V editing, application load/run from drive, game storage for supported consoles

How to use

Connect the Elite SE880 to a host device using the Type‑C cable. Ensure the host supports USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 to achieve maximum throughput; devices with lower USB versions will work but at reduced speeds. Use the drive like any external storage: copy files, edit media directly from the SSD or install and run games and applications supported by your console or operating system.

Recommendations

For best performance, connect to a host that explicitly supports USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 and use a compatible Type‑C cable. Keep firmware and host drivers up to date and back up important data regularly.
