Ajoneuvoantenni Panasonic PCPE-GPSDANT — GPS- ja satelliittiyhteysantenni

Panasonic PCPE-GPSDANT is a vehicle antenna designed to provide GPS and satellite connectivity for in-vehicle systems. It is intended for external mounting on cars, vans and trucks to improve reception of GPS and satellite signals and to maintain reliable positioning and data links while driving. The antenna fits docking stations with Dual 4G/GPS antenna pass-through (Direct TNC) and is compatible with Panasonic Toughbook 40, 33, 55 and G2 models where such pass-through is supported.

Advantages

The antenna offers an external, vehicle-mounted solution that enhances GPS and satellite signal reception compared with internal receivers. Its Direct TNC connection and pass-through design allow integration with docking stations that support Dual 4G/GPS antenna routing, reducing the need for multiple exterior antennas. The design supports continuous positioning and data link stability during transit and is suitable for fleet tracking and telematics applications.

How to use

Mount the antenna on an appropriate external location of the vehicle according to vehicle and docking station installation guidelines to ensure a clear view of the sky. Connect the antenna using the Direct TNC interface to the docking station’s Dual 4G/GPS pass-through port. Verify that the docking station and connected device (for example Panasonic Toughbook models listed) recognize the external antenna and confirm GPS/satellite signal reception before regular use.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the antenna on a metal-free or recommended mounting point with minimal obstruction to the sky view, secure all cable connections, and follow vehicle-specific and docking station installation instructions. Check compatibility with your docking station model and Toughbook unit prior to installation.
