Aktiivisubwoofer Omnitronic BX-1250

The Omnitronic BX-1250 active subwoofer provides a compact, high-performance solution for adding low-frequency reinforcement to PA systems, studio monitoring setups, and home audio systems. With 300 W RMS power and a frequency range specified from 20 Hz to 400 Hz, the unit reproduces deep bass content while remaining suitable for integration with full-range speakers. The enclosure features a discreet black finish and dimensions of approximately 39 cm (W) x 32 cm (D) x 48 cm (H), allowing placement in small to medium-sized venues or dedicated listening rooms.

Advantages

The BX-1250 combines substantial continuous power and an extended low-frequency response to deliver tight, controlled bass without excessive enclosure size. Its compact footprint and moderate shipping weight make it easier to transport and position than larger subwoofers. The broad frequency range supports both very low fundamental bass and the upper bass region, improving overall clarity and impact when paired with satellite speakers.

How to use

Place the BX-1250 on a stable surface or floor position suited to the room and application, ensuring adequate ventilation around the amplifier section. Connect the subwoofer to your mixer, amplifier, or audio interface using appropriate line-level inputs and outputs; adjust crossover and level controls (if present on your system) to achieve a smooth transition between the subwoofer and main speakers. Start with conservative level and low-frequency settings, then increase as needed while checking for balanced integration and avoiding overload in the main speakers or subwoofer.

Recommendations

For optimal results, position the subwoofer near a wall or corner to increase low-frequency loading if more bass is required, but verify in-room response and adjust placement to reduce boominess. Use a high-pass filter on the main speakers to prevent overlap in the lowest octave and protect them from excessive excursion. When transporting, handle the unit by its base and allow the amplifier to cool between extended sessions.
