Stagebox Omnitronic 16IN/4OUT XLR/XLR — moniydinkaapeli, jossa 16 XLR-tuloa ja 4 XLR-lähtöä

Omnitronic Multicore Stagebox 16IN/4OUT XLR/XLR is a compact stage snake that consolidates 16 balanced XLR inputs and 4 balanced XLR outputs into a single, portable unit. Designed for live sound and stage setups, this multicore reduces the number of individual cables between stage and front-of-house, simplifies routing, and helps maintain clean, reliable signal paths for microphones, DI boxes, and line-level devices.

Advantages

The stagebox provides a straightforward method for connecting multiple stage sources to a mixing console while keeping cable runs organized and minimizing setup time. Balanced XLR connections on both inputs and outputs support noise-resistant signal transmission over long cable runs. Its compact format and fixed connector arrangement make it simple to deploy in venues, theatres, rehearsal rooms, or mobile rigs where quick and repeatable connections are required.

How to use

Place the stagebox near the stage input area and connect microphones, DI boxes, and other sources to the 16 XLR input connectors using standard XLR cables. Use the 4 XLR outputs to feed wedge monitors, outboard processors, or the mixing console inputs at FOH via the multicore cable. Ensure all connected devices and the mixing console are powered off when making connections if possible, then power up and verify input channel signal and gain structure on the console. Route and label channels on the console to match the physical order of the stagebox connectors to simplify soundcheck and performance operation.

Recommendations

Use high-quality XLR patch cables and avoid sharp bends or tight coils in the multicore to maintain signal integrity. When running long distances, keep the multicore away from power cables and sources of electromagnetic interference. Regularly inspect connectors for secure contacts and clean XLR pins if needed to prevent dropouts during performances.
