Alantec RJ45-liitin GN004, valkoinen

The Alantec RJ45 female wire connector GN004 in white is a recessed female RJ45 receptacle designed for terminating Ethernet cables and providing a secure, standardized interface for network connections. It accepts a standard RJ45 plug and is intended for integration into patch panels, keystone inserts, wall plates or custom cable assemblies where a female RJ45 port is required. The product supports UTP cabling and is compatible with Cat5e wiring schemes, offering clear cable-pair identification for both T568A and T568B termination sequences.

Advantages

The GN004 delivers a compact, white female RJ45 interface that simplifies installation of network endpoints. It includes dual IDC termination options (110/LSA) for reliable insulation displacement contact connections and supports straightforward mounting on walls or desks. The connector is designed to maintain proper pair sequence for Cat5e UTP installations and provides a neat, standardized port for patching and device connection.

How to use

Prepare the Ethernet cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose individual pairs, untwist the pairs to the minimum length recommended for IDC termination, and follow the colour sequence for either T568A or T568B. Insert the conductors into the IDC slots of the GN004 connector and use an appropriate punch-down or IDC tool to secure the wires. After termination, check continuity and pair order with a cable tester. Mount the connector into the chosen wall plate, keystone opening or surface jack housing and secure it according to the housing instructions.

Recommendations

Use the GN004 with Cat5e UTP cabling and proper IDC punch-down tools to ensure reliable contact. Verify wiring sequence (T568A or T568B) before final mounting to maintain consistent network topology. For installations in potentially noisy environments or where higher performance is required, consider using shielded connectors and higher-category cabling appropriate to the application.
