Älykäs kastelunohjaussarja Gardena 19103-20

The Smart Water Control Set Gardena 19103-20 is a compact irrigation controller system designed to optimize garden watering by integrating a smart environmental sensor that measures sunlight between 3 and 200 lx. The set is battery-powered using AA alkaline cells for the sensor, enabling flexible placement without the need for permanent wiring. Combined with GARDENA irrigation components, the system helps regulate watering schedules based on measured sunlight levels to support efficient water use and healthier plants.

Advantages

The integrated sunlight sensor provides quantified light readings from 3 to 200 lux, enabling more accurate irrigation decisions compared with time-only controllers. Battery power (AA alkaline) allows easy installation and relocation of the sensor without electrical wiring. The set is compatible with GARDENA smart irrigation systems and supports automated adjustments to watering patterns based on measured environmental conditions. The compact design is suitable for outdoor use and simple to integrate into existing garden setups.

Suitable for

• Home gardens and small lawns where water efficiency is important
• Balconies or terraces with potted plants that need light-based irrigation control
• Integration into GARDENA smart irrigation systems for automated watering
• Seasonal gardens where sunlight levels vary and influence watering needs

Key specifications

• Sunlight measurement range: 3–200 lux
• Power source for sensor: AA alkaline batteries
• Designed for outdoor garden irrigation control
• Compact, battery-powered sensor for flexible placement
• Compatible with GARDENA smart irrigation components

How to use

Install the sunlight sensor in a representative location within the garden where it receives typical exposure to sun and shade. Insert AA alkaline batteries as specified, ensuring correct polarity, and pair the sensor with the GARDENA Smart Water Control or compatible irrigation controller following the manufacturer's pairing instructions. Configure the irrigation schedule or automatic rules in the GARDENA app or controller so that watering frequency or duration responds to the sensor's sunlight readings. Periodically check battery status and replace the AA alkaline cells when performance drops to maintain accurate measurements.

Recommendations

Place the sensor away from artificial light sources and reflective surfaces to ensure accurate lux readings. For best results, position the device so it measures typical sunlight exposure of the planting area and review battery condition before the peak growing season.
