EZVIZ DL05 is a smart fingerprint door lock designed for secure, keyless access to residential and small commercial doors. The lock combines biometric fingerprint recognition with a compact form factor to replace or upgrade standard mechanical locks. It provides quick entry for registered users and helps simplify daily access management while maintaining a low-profile aesthetic that fits common wooden or metal doors.

Advantages

The EZVIZ DL05 offers biometric fingerprint unlocking that reduces dependence on physical keys and minimizes the risk of unauthorized duplication. Its compact design enables straightforward replacement of many conventional deadbolts and latch locks, while the internal mechanism supports reliable operation in everyday use. The lock supports multiple user fingerprints for shared access and delivers faster entry compared with traditional keyed locks.

Suitable for

• Residential front and interior doors where keyless access is desired
• Small commercial or office doors with moderate access traffic
• Rental properties and multi-tenant units that require simplified user management
• Home retrofit projects replacing standard mechanical locks

Key specifications

• Biometric fingerprint recognition for primary unlocking
• Compact form factor designed for standard door thicknesses
• Multiple user fingerprint capacity for shared access
• Mechanical latch compatibility for common door preparations
• Battery-powered operation with low-battery indication

How to use

Install the EZVIZ DL05 by replacing the existing lock hardware following the door’s standard bore and latch alignment; installation may require basic hand tools and minor adjustments to the strike plate. Enroll authorized fingerprints through the lock’s onboard setup procedure so that each user can unlock the door by placing a registered finger on the sensor. The lock operates on battery power; once batteries are installed, normal operation includes fingerprint recognition for entry and manual key override if required by the door’s mechanical design.

Recommendations

To ensure reliable fingerprint recognition, enroll each finger with clean, dry skin and register multiple fingers per user. Replace batteries promptly when the low-battery indicator appears and test the mechanical override during installation. For doors exposed to heavy weather or high humidity, verify compatibility with the lock’s mounting and consider additional sealing or a sheltered installation location.
