Meross MS600 WiFi Smart Presence Sensor (Matter).

Meross MS600 is a reliable device that stands out for its exceptional accuracy in detecting presence and motion. Using dual detection technology - PIR sensor and millimeter wave radar - it provides much higher accuracy than traditional sensors. The MS600 not only detects motion, but also the presence of the user, even when he or she does not make any movements. It's ideal for automating lighting, security systems and other smart home applications. Note: a gateway (not included) is required for proper operation of the Matter protocol.

Dual sensing technology for maximum precision

The Meross sensor combines motion and presence detection through a combination of PIR technology and millimeter wave radar. As a result, it effectively detects both motion and presence without movement, minimizing the risk of false alarms caused by vacuum cleaners, wind or shadows, for example. A built-in light sensor further enhances the ability to automate the lighting, adapting it to the conditions in the room.

Support for multiple ecosystems

The Meross MS600 runs on the Matter platform, which allows for easy integration with HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home and the Meross app. This allows you to seamlessly manage the device from the system of your choice, enjoying greater stability, lower latency and better privacy. Plus, with local support, the sensor also works offline.

Security and privacy protection

Unlike cameras, the Meross sensor does not record video or collect any data about its surroundings, guaranteeing complete privacy. Using radar technology, it is able to detect even subtle movements without effects such as "ghosting" or other false detections. In addition, while you are away, the sensor can activate an alarm and send a notification to your phone in case of an intrusion. This way, you'll always be in the know.

Wide range and easy installation

The sensor features a base that rotates 360° and tilts 180°, allowing you to precisely adjust the detection angle. Motion detection range is 12 meters, and presence detection works effectively within a radius of up to 6 meters. Built-in cable management solutions facilitate aesthetic installation of the device.

Versatile application

The Meross MS600 will work well in a variety of situations: from home lighting automation and security systems to applications in garages, hotels and smart buildings. For example, you can turn on the fan when the sensor detects your presence in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes, or automatically turn off the air conditioning when you leave the bedroom.

Included

• sensor
• power cable
• power adapter
• cable organizer x3
• double-sided tape
• animal protection cover
• user manual

How to use

Mount the sensor using the supplied base, position it with the desired rotation and tilt, and connect the device to power via the USB-C cable and adapter. Add the MS600 to your Matter-enabled network through the Meross app or your chosen smart home platform (a Matter gateway is required). Calibrate placement for optimal presence detection — avoid direct airflow sources and place within recommended ranges: motion detection up to 12 m and presence detection up to 6 m. Configure notifications, automation rules and local settings in the app.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, ensure the sensor is connected to a stable 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network and keep the firmware updated via the Meross app. Use the included animal protection cover if pets are present, and place the sensor away from direct heat sources or vents to minimize false triggers.
