APC-kaapeli, UPS-tiedonsiirto Smart Signalling (1,8 m - DB-9 - RJ-45)

The APC AP940-0625A Cable Gender Changer provides a dedicated serial/USB communication link between a UPS and a server, enabling reliable signalling independent of the network. This 2 m black cable features a DB9 connector on one end and an RJ45 connector on the other, designed for straightforward integration into existing UPS setups and extended-distance signal transmission.

Advantages

The cable supports stable data transmission between UPS and equipment, reduces the need for network-dependent communication, and accommodates longer cable runs thanks to its 2 m length. Its DB9-to-RJ45 configuration allows compatibility with devices that use serial console or adapter-based connections while keeping installation simple.

Suitable for

• Connecting APC UPS units to servers or management consoles via serial/USB interfaces
• Extending UPS signalling distance within racks or between nearby equipment
• Replacing or adapting existing DB9-to-RJ45 connections in data centres and server rooms
