APC Smart-UPS Ultra Li-Ion SRTL3KRM1UINC, 3KW, 1U rack/torni/seinä, 3x C13 & 2x C19, NMC

Stay always online and prevent data loss
An APC Smart-UPS Ultra On-Line Li-Ion always supplies perfectly clean power to all connected equipment thanks to its double conversion technology. Even power outages have no influence on this. The APC Smart-UPS On-Line then automatically supplies emergency power without having to switch. This way you prevent unwanted failure of, for example, a server, storage or switch. With the integrated network card and associated APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software, the UPS can send a shutdown signal via the network to multiple physical and/or virtual servers and have them shut down automatically and in a controlled manner when the UPS battery is almost empty. This way you prevent data loss, downtime and physical damage to hardware.

Ultra
Thanks to next-gen semiconductor technology, this APC Ultra UPS delivers 3000W in just a 1U form factor.

Lithium-Ion
The APC SRTL3KRM1UINC uses Li-Ion batteries, which provides unique advantages:

-Longer life span. Li-Ion batteries can last up to 10 years, making the UPS truly maintenance-free.
-Smaller and lighter. Li-Ion batteries are smaller and weigh approximately 30% less than lead acid batteries, saving space, 2U form factor and simplifying installation.
-Better performance at high temperature. Li-Ion batteries perform well at high ambient temperatures (up to 40°C), in contrast to lead acid batteries where this is at the expense of battery life.
-5 year manufacturer's warranty. Standard long warranty on the UPS including the battery.
-Lower costs: The above benefits reduce the total costs over the entire lifespan of the UPS by up to 53% (compared to a UPS with lead-acid batteries.)

Battery life
You can easily read the expected battery life in the runtime graph, which you can find between the product images. You can easily see how long the UPS supplies emergency power at a certain load.

Extend the runtime
You can easily increase the number of minutes that the APC SRTL3KRM1UINC can independently supply emergency power by connecting up to 5 additional external battery packs (SRTL50RMBP1U-LI). A runtime of several hours is even possible.

Manage your Smart-UPS
Thanks to the integrated network card, you can easily connect the APC UPS to your network. This way you can monitor and manage the UPS remotely (SNMP) and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers using PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

PowerChute Network Shutdown
PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS Network Management Card to protect Windows, Linux and Host ESXi, as well as hyperconverged and virtual infrastructure*. In the event of a power outage, PowerChute can properly shut down your virtual machines and the preconfigured boot sequence ensures they are turned back on.

*An additional license is required for HCI and virtual machine support:
1 year: SWPCNS1Y-DIGI
Up to (Replace the bold number in the article number for the desired variant)
6 years: SWPCNS6Y-DIGI

Remote management and monitoring of your network
The network card can be managed remotely via the easy-to-use web browser interface, remote management software EcoStruxure™ IT (SWITE1YR-DIGI) or another SNMP-compatible system. Tip EcoStruxure™ IT also includes the functionalities of the support contract below.

Support contract
The optional network card support contract license* ensures that you are always up to date and secure and includes additional benefits such as frequent updates with:
• New and improved features
• Security updates
• Advanced support
(The support contract functionality is included free of charge in the first year of the UPS)

*The above license and available in the variants:
1 year: SWNMC3SU-1Y-DIGI
Up to (Replace the bold number in the article number for the desired variant)
6 years: SWNMC3SU-6Y-DIGI

Availability
The Smart-UPS On-Line has an internal bypass and uses double conversion, which increases the availability and lifespan of connected hardware.

Safety
In addition, a Smart-UPS On-Line protects connected devices against peak voltage caused by lightning, among other things. This APC emergency power supply is therefore ideally suited for business use.

Easy to use
The APC Smart-UPS SRTL is easy to operate thanks to a graphic LCD screen with auto-rotation.

Rack/Tower/Wall/Ceiling/Desk convertible
The SRTL3KRM1UINC can really be placed anywhere. Both feet (Tower), the 4 post rails (Rack), and wall brackets (Wall) are included. So you can mount it horizontally in a rack, but also place it vertically or hanging.

Switched Outlet Groups: Remote reboot and fasingfirst start-up
Thanks to the Switched Outlet Groups, it is possible to configure a phased/delayed power-on per UPS outlet group. This reduces the peak load on the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, which limits oversizing of the UPS.

It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outputs and the equipment connected to them. If a network card (ap9640) is used in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SWITE1YR-DIGI), this can even be done remotely.

You also cannot eliminate critical loads; This way you extend the runtime for critical equipment.

How to use

Install the UPS in a 19-inch rack using the supplied 4-post rails or place it on a surface using the included tower feet. Connect critical equipment to the provided C13 and C19 outlets and plug the UPS input to mains using the included power cord. Configure the integrated network card through its web interface or EcoStruxure IT to enable remote monitoring and to install PowerChute Network Shutdown for controlled server shutdowns. If longer runtime is required, connect up to five external SRTL50RMBP1U-LI battery packs according to the installation manual.

Recommendations

For virtualised or hyperconverged infrastructures, verify and acquire the required PowerChute Network Shutdown license for HCI and VM support. Use switched outlet groups to stagger equipment start-up and reduce inrush current. Keep the UPS in an environment within the recommended temperature range (up to 40°C) to maximise battery life and consult the digital environmental profile for additional Green Premium information.
