APRANET 160 Cokin P-sarjan liukuvärisuodatin sininen B2 Soft Samyang P123S:lle

Landscape photographers reaching for their Samyang P123S lens on a bright afternoon often face a washed-out sky that lacks the drama of the scene before them. The APRANET 160 Cokin filter slides into a P-series holder and applies a soft-edged blue graduation, deepening the sky from the top of the frame while leaving the foreground untouched. The B2 density adds a medium blue cast that turns a pale horizon into a rich, moody backdrop for seascapes, mountain ridges, or architectural silhouettes.

Key specifications

• Filter type: Graduated color filter (blue)
• Effect: Blue sky enhancement, medium intensity (B2)
• Series: Cokin P-series (84 mm width, slot-in)
• Material: CR39 optical resin
• Graduation edge: Soft
• Compatibility: Lenses with Cokin P-series adapter ring
• Application: Landscape, seascape, architectural photography

Why choose it

The soft transition blends the blue tint naturally into the scene, avoiding harsh lines even when the horizon is uneven. CR39 resin keeps the filter lightweight and resistant to impact while maintaining high optical clarity with minimal distortion. Because it mounts in a holder, you can slide it up or down to position the graduation exactly where the sky meets the subject, and stack it with other P-series filters for combined effects.

Ideal use cases

• Enhancing blue skies in landscape and seascape shots
• Adding mood and drama to architectural exteriors
• Balancing exposure between bright sky and darker foreground
• Creative color grading in-camera without post-processing

Good to know

The filter is designed for use with a Cokin P-series holder and an appropriate adapter ring for your lens. It does not screw directly onto the lens. The soft edge is ideal for scenes with irregular horizons, while the B2 density provides a noticeable but not overpowering blue effect. Store the filter in a protective case when not in use to avoid scratches on the resin surface.
