The 10 mm drop suits heel strikers and midfoot runners alike, and the neutral design lets your natural gait shine. Plus, the recycled upper material means you're making a lighter footprint on the planet.

• Daily road running and base mileage
• Tempo runs and moderate-paced workouts
• Recovery days when you still want cushioning
• Beginner runners building distance
• Gym sessions and treadmill work

Good to know

ASICS recommends replacing running shoes every 500–800 km, depending on your weight, gait, and surface. The removable sockliner allows you to insert custom orthotics if needed. For best fit, measure your foot in the evening when it's slightly swollen, and consider going half a size up from your casual shoes. The Patriot 14 runs true to size for most runners, but those with wide feet may prefer a wider width option.
