Audiokaapeli ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA – 2x RCA 15 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA - 2x RCA 15m is a 15-metre analogue audio cable with male RCA connectors on both ends. Constructed from quality copper conductors and fitted with nickel-plated contacts, this cable is intended for reliable line-level audio connections between components such as amplifiers, receivers, CD players and mixers. The black, red and white colour scheme on the jacket and connector collars helps identify channels and keeps installations tidy.

Advantages

This audio cable provides consistent analogue signal transmission over extended distance thanks to copper conductors and secure RCA plugs. Nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain contact quality over repeated plugging cycles. The 15 m length allows flexible equipment placement without the need for additional extension adapters, while the colour-coded connectors simplify left/right channel identification during setup.

Suitable for

• Connecting stereo line-level devices (amplifier to source)
• Home audio systems and AV receivers
• DJ and mixing setups requiring longer cable runs
• Temporary installations and rehearsals where mobility is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: 2 x RCA (male) to 2 x RCA (male)
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Colour: black jacket with red and white connector identification

How to use

Plug the RCA male connectors firmly into the corresponding RCA input and output sockets on your audio devices, matching the red and white connectors to the right and left channels respectively. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to minimise exposure to high-traffic areas to reduce wear. For best results, ensure device volumes are set low before making or breaking connections to prevent pops or transient sounds.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, keep the cable away from mains power cables and strong electromagnetic sources. When running the cable over long distances, avoid sharp bends and secure it at intervals to prevent strain on the connectors. Regularly inspect the nickel-plated contacts and clean them if oxidation or dirt is present to maintain reliable audio transmission.
