Audiokaapeli ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA - 2x RCA 2,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA - 2x RCA 2.5m is an analogue audio interconnect designed for connecting consumer audio equipment over a moderate distance. The 2.5 meter cable uses two male RCA plugs on each end and is built with high-quality copper conductors and nickel-plated contacts to provide stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. Color-coded connector shells (black, red, white) simplify left/right and channel identification when hooking up receivers, amplifiers, CD players or other line-level devices.

Advantages

This audio cable offers reliable analogue transmission thanks to pure copper conductors and nickel-plated contacts that resist oxidation. The 2.5 m length provides flexibility in placement without excess cable slack in typical home and studio setups. Color-coded ends reduce connection errors and speed up installation. The construction is suitable for general-purpose use with line-level devices and prioritizes straightforward, trouble-free connectivity.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, tape decks or DACs to amplifiers and receivers
• Linking stereo output from TVs or set-top boxes to external speakers or AV receivers
• Hooking up mixers or audio interfaces with RCA line-level I/O in small studio setups
• Replacing worn or short RCA leads in home audio systems

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2.5 m
• Connector type: 2 x RCA (male) on both ends
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Colour coding: black, red, white connector shells
• Signal type: analogue line-level audio

How to use

Identify left and right channels by the red and white color-coded connectors. Insert the RCA plugs firmly into the corresponding RCA jacks on each device until secure. Ensure both source and destination devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid pops or transient noise. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of electrical interference; secure excess length with cable ties if necessary. After connections are made, power on devices and verify audio playback and correct channel assignment.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid stretching the cable and keep connectors free from dust or moisture. Use the 2.5 m length for typical room setups; for runs near power cables, maintain some separation to reduce potential interference. If longer runs or balanced connections are required, consider alternative cable types designed for those purposes.
