Audiokaapeli ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA - 2x RCA 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA - 2x RCA 7.5m audio cable is a straightforward connection solution for analog audio systems. With two male RCA plugs on each end and a 7.5 metre length, this cable is suitable for linking CD players, amplifiers, mixers, receivers and other line-level devices where a longer run is required. The conductors are copper and the contacts are nickel-plated to provide reliable signal transfer and resistance to corrosion. The cable sheath and connector collars are finished in a black, red and white colour scheme to help with channel identification and to complement equipment setups.

Advantages

The cable offers a long 7.5 m reach that enables flexible placement of audio equipment without the need for extensions. Copper conductors ensure adequate conductivity for analog signals while nickel-plated contacts reduce oxidation and maintain consistent contact quality. Dual male RCA connectors on both ends provide a standard, widely compatible interface for most line-level audio components. The colour-coded connectors assist with quick and correct channel connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD/DVD players, tuners or media players to amplifiers and receivers
• Linking mixers or audio interfaces to powered monitors or recording gear
• Home stereo setups where longer cable runs between components are needed
• Temporary or permanent installations in small venues where analog RCA connections are used

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connector types: 2 x RCA (male) to 2 x RCA (male)
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Colour: black, red and white

How to use

Identify left and right channels on source and destination devices using the red and white colour markers. Firmly insert the RCA plugs into the matching RCA jacks until secure; avoid twisting the connectors during insertion. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electrical interference, keeping it separate from mains power cables where possible. If longer runs are required, ensure connectors are clean and make good contact before use.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable run as direct as possible and avoid running parallel to mains wiring. Periodically inspect connector contacts for dirt or corrosion and clean with an appropriate electronic contact cleaner if necessary. Use the colour coding to ensure correct left/right channel connections and label both ends if installing permanently.
