Audiokaapeli TOSLINK ShiverPeaks BS20-45155 1,5 m musta

The ShiverPeaks BS20-45155 is a 1.5m TOSLINK audio cable with male-to-male optical connectors, designed for digital audio transmission between devices equipped with TOSLINK ports. The cable has a black outer jacket and gold-plated connector contacts to support reliable signal coupling and improved contact durability. It is intended for short to medium-length fixed connections in home audio systems, AV receivers, soundbars, televisions and other compatible equipment.

Advantages

The optical design transmits digital audio via light, providing galvanic isolation that prevents ground loops and electrical interference. Gold-plated contacts increase resistance to corrosion and help maintain stable optical alignment at the connector interface. The 1.5 metre length balances flexibility and reach for typical living room or entertainment centre layouts while the black finish blends with common AV installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers over TOSLINK/optical ports
• Linking CD/DVD/Blu-ray players to home theater systems
• Digital audio connections for media players and game consoles with optical outputs
• Short to medium cable runs in home or small office AV setups

Key specifications

• Cable type: Optical (TOSLINK) audio cable with male connectors on both ends
• Length: 1.5 metres
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved durability
• Casing colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital optical audio (PCM, compatible with standard S/PDIF optical formats)

How to use

Power off both devices before making the connection. Align each male TOSLINK connector to the optical port on the source and target devices and insert gently until it seats; avoid forcing the connector. After both ends are connected, power the devices and select the optical/TOSLINK input in the receiving device’s audio settings. Adjust output format or sample rate on the source device if required for compatibility.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and kinks in the optical cable to maintain signal integrity. Keep the cable away from sources of strong mechanical stress or severe heat. When routing the cable behind racks or through narrow openings, guide it carefully to prevent crushing the optical fibre core.
