Aurinkolataussäädin QOLTEC MPPT 50A 12V/24V LCD:llä, malli 53664

Solar charge controller QOLTEC MPPT 50A 12V/24V with LCD, model 53664 is a maximum power point tracking regulator designed to manage charging from photovoltaic panels to 12V or 24V battery banks. The controller monitors panel output and battery condition, optimizes power transfer with MPPT algorithms, and provides a clear LCD for voltage, current and charging mode information. Intended for small to medium off-grid systems, recreational vehicles and backup power installations, it supports safe, efficient charging and basic battery protection functions.

Advantages

The MPPT algorithm increases energy harvest compared with PWM controllers by continuously tracking the solar array’s optimal operating point, improving charge current under varying irradiance and temperature. The integrated LCD displays key parameters and status for straightforward monitoring and configuration. Automatic recognition of 12V or 24V battery systems simplifies installation, while built-in protections against overcharge, reverse connection and overload help preserve battery life and system reliability.

Suitable for

• Small off-grid solar systems for cabins and sheds
• Leisure vehicles and camper vans
• Residential backup battery systems and emergency power
• Boat electrical systems with 12V/24V batteries
• Distributed photovoltaic installations up to the controller’s rated current

Key specifications

• Maximum charging current: 50 A
• Compatible battery voltages: 12 V and 24 V (auto-detection)
• MPPT tracking for increased energy conversion efficiency
• LCD display providing voltage, current, charging mode and status indications
• Protection features: overcharge protection, reverse polarity protection, overload protection, short-circuit protection
• Operating temperature range suitable for typical outdoor/indoor installations

How to use

Install the controller on a stable, ventilated surface close to the battery bank and away from direct heat sources. Connect the battery first, observing correct polarity, then connect the photovoltaic panel array. The controller will auto-detect the battery voltage (12V or 24V) and begin MPPT regulation. Use the LCD menu to view real-time voltage and current readings, change charging parameters where applicable, and review fault indicators. Regularly inspect wiring and connections for corrosion or looseness to maintain reliable operation.

Recommendations

To maximize system performance and battery life, size the solar array and cable cross-sections so that the controller operates within its 50 A rating and voltage limits. Place the controller in a ventilated location free from direct moisture exposure; for installations in harsh environments consider additional enclosure protection. Follow battery manufacturer guidelines for charging voltages and temperature compensation when adjusting settings via the LCD.
