The Transcend DrivePro 230Q Data Privacy dashcam records Full HD 1080p video with a 130° wide-angle lens to capture a broad view of the road. Its built-in display and compact black housing provide straightforward setup and monitoring, while integrated GPS records location and speed data for trip context. The unit supports loop recording and uses an internal G-sensor to detect and automatically protect footage of sudden impacts. Compatible with MicroSD memory cards, the DrivePro 230Q combines essential recording features in a small, battery-powered package intended for everyday in-vehicle use.

Advantages

The dashcam delivers clear 1080p footage that balances image detail and file size, and the 130° viewing angle reduces blind spots when capturing lanes and intersections. Built-in GPS adds timestamped location and speed information to recordings, aiding incident analysis. Loop recording ensures continuous capture without manual file management, and the G-sensor secures relevant clips when an impact is detected. The compact form and integrated display simplify installation and on-device review.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a high-endurance MicroSD card from a reputable brand and format it in the device before first use. Position the camera to minimize reflections and obstructions on the windshield, and verify GPS lock before starting trips if location and speed logging are required. Regularly check recorded files and clear non-essential footage according to local data privacy rules.
