Automaattinen koiran talutushihna Extralink Pupilplanet 5 m LED-valolla ja jätepussisäiliöllä

The Extralink Pupilplanet retractable dog leash is a 5 m automatic leash designed for everyday walks. It combines a smooth retracting tape with a patented locking mechanism, an integrated LED flashlight powered by included batteries, and a built-in waste bag container. The TPE‑coated ergonomic handle and 360° rotating carabiner improve comfort and reduce tape twisting, making walks safer and more manageable in low light and busy environments.

Advantages

The leash offers precise distance control through a patented locking mechanism that secures the tape at any desired length. The integrated bag dispenser stores standard rolls for quick access, and the LED flashlight increases visibility after dark without the need for charging. An ergonomic, non-slip TPE handle and a 360° rotating carabiner enhance handling and reduce tangling.

Suitable for

• Daily walks in parks, streets, and urban areas
• Evening or low-light walks thanks to the integrated LED
• Owners who prefer a single tool with bag storage for convenience

When it may not be suitable

The retractable leash is not intended as a substitute for close control in situations that require strict restraint (for example, around traffic or aggressive animals). In such cases a short fixed lead or additional training may be more appropriate. Extremely strong pullers or very large dogs may exceed the intended load capacity of a 5 m retractable tape; check the dog's behaviour and strength before relying on the leash in high-stress situations.

Key specifications

• Tape length: 5 metres
• Locking: patented stop-and-lock mechanism for adjustable length
• Lighting: integrated LED flashlight (battery powered, batteries included)
• Handle: TPE‑coated ergonomic, non-slip grip
• Connector: 360° rotating carabiner to prevent tape twisting
• Waste bag storage: built-in dispenser compatible with standard rolls

How to use

Hold the TPE handle and press the control button to release or lock the tape at the required length using the patented locking mechanism. Attach the rotating carabiner to the dog’s collar or harness, ensuring a secure connection. Use the built-in dispenser to pull out a bag when needed; refill the dispenser by opening its compartment and inserting a standard roll. Turn on the LED flashlight when visibility is low; replace batteries as required.

What to consider before purchase

• Assess your dog's size and pulling strength to ensure a 5 m retractable leash is appropriate
• Check that your preferred waste bag roll fits standard dispenser dimensions
• Consider whether battery-powered LED lighting meets your needs or if rechargeable lighting is preferred

Recommendations

Use the locking mechanism to keep the dog close in busy areas, and allow the tape to extend in open spaces. Regularly inspect the tape, carabiner, and handle for wear, and replace batteries in the LED before long evening walks.
