Auton akku Varta 6117 12V 70Ah, lyijy-happo-käynnistysakku

Varta 6117 is a 12V 70Ah lead-acid starter battery designed to deliver reliable starting power for passenger vehicles. It provides a stable 12-volt output and a 70 ampere-hour capacity suitable for standard engine ignition and typical onboard electrical systems. The battery is intended as a replacement for existing starter batteries to restore dependable ignition performance and maintain steady voltage for lighting, audio, and other accessories.

Advantages

The battery offers consistent cranking performance across a wide range of temperatures and is engineered for reliable cold start capability. Its lead-acid construction provides proven durability and predictable discharge characteristics for starter applications. The compact, serviceable form factor fits many common battery trays and terminations used in passenger cars, enabling straightforward replacement. The design emphasises stable voltage under load to reduce accessory resets and support vehicle electronics during engine start cycles.

Suitable for

• Replacement of a depleted or failed starter battery in passenger cars
• Everyday commuter vehicles with standard electrical loads
• Vehicles requiring a 12V power supply and approximately 70Ah capacity

Key specifications

• Nominal voltage: 12 V
• Capacity: 70 Ah (ampere-hour)
• Chemistry: lead-acid (starter battery)
• Application: engine starting for passenger vehicles
• Typical use: supports lighting, audio, and common onboard electronics during start

How to use

Before installation, ensure the vehicle ignition is off and follow manufacturer safety procedures. Remove the old battery, clean the battery tray and terminal clamps from corrosion, and verify the replacement fits the tray and has correct terminal orientation. Mount the battery securely, connect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, and tighten clamps to the recommended torque. After installation, start the engine and check for stable voltage and normal electrical system operation. Dispose of the removed battery following local regulations for lead-acid battery recycling.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, maintain clean terminals and ensure secure mounting. Avoid deep discharges and prolonged storage in a discharged state. If the vehicle is left unused for extended periods, consider periodic charging or use of a maintenance charger to prevent sulfation and preserve capacity.
