Multiport USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 hub AXAGON HMC-HCR3A expands your laptop, computer or phone with four ports and SD / microSD card reader. The USB hub offers three USB outputs with standard USB-A connectors. The hub can also handle permanent connection of several external drives simultaneously. Transfer rate up to 5Gb/s thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. How to use

Connect the hub's USB-C male plug to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your laptop, computer or phone. If you need video output, ensure the host port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and the operating system supports external video. Attach USB peripherals, memory cards or an HDMI display; the hub supports hot-plugging so devices can be connected or disconnected while the host is running. For card-to-card copying insert SD and microSD cards into their respective slots; the reader appears as two separate drives in the file manager.

Recommendations

For video output, use a host device with DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 and an up-to-date OS. To maximize transfer speeds and charging, connect to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on the host and avoid overloading all ports simultaneously. Handle and store SD/microSD cards according to manufacturer guidelines.
