This standard R4 cold glow plug from Axe Rossi is designed for most nitro-powered engines with a standard combustion chamber.

Featuring a precisely produced thread and excellent contact to the combustion chamber for maximum engine performance, this high-quality glow plug is engineered for maximum lifetime and great power.

Cold glow plugs are suitable for engines with higher displacement, higher nitromethane content, higher compression, or on warm days between 20°C and 25°C, normal days between 11°C and 19°C, and hot days over 26°C.

Cold STD R4 glow plug for nitro engines with standard combustion chambers

Notes

• Greater engine displacement calls for a colder glow plug.
• Higher nitromethane content calls for a colder glow plug.
• Higher outside air temperature calls for a colder glow plug.
• Higher compression calls for a colder glow plug.

Rough guide for the relation of glow plug and air temperature: on very hot days over 33 °C, use an ultra-cold glow plug.

• On hot days over 26 °C: ultra-cold or extra-cold glow plug.
• On warm days between 20 °C and 25 °C: cold or very-cold glow plug.
• On normal days between 11 °C and 19 °C: medium or cold glow plug.
• On cold days between 0 °C and 10 °C: hot or medium glow plug.
• On very cold days under 0 °C: hot glow plug.

The AXE R4 Standard is a cold glow plug for almost all nitromethane-powered combustion engines with very high lifetime and optimal combustion pattern. The plug thread is cleanly and precisely cut; the plug has a very high form fit to the combustion chamber.

Notes

The larger the displacement, nitro content or compression of the engine and the higher the outside or air temperature, the colder the plug should be.

• At over 33 °C: ultra cold plug; at over 26 °C: ultra / extra cold plug.
• At 20–25 °C: cold / very cold plug; at 11–19 °C: medium / cold plug.
• At 0–10 °C: hot / medium plug; at below 0 °C: hot plug.
