Backplate EK Water Blocks alumiini musta

EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 Backplate - Black is a CNC-machined retention backplate made from black anodized aluminium for the EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 - Special Edition water block. It mounts to the back of the graphics card PCB, improving structural support and contributing to the cooling solution by providing passive heat dissipation for the GPU core area, rear-mounted VRAM and the PCB VRM section.

Advantages

The aluminium backplate is precision-machined and black anodized for durability and a uniform finish. Its ribbed surface increases passive cooling surface area and, because it contacts the active part of the water block, enables hybrid cooling where heat is conducted away from the PCB into the water-cooled assembly. The package includes mounting screws and thermal pads for correct installation.

Suitable for

• EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 - Special Edition water block users
• Users seeking additional passive cooling for GPU core, VRAM and VRM areas
• Custom water-cooled PC builds requiring a matching aesthetic and backplate support

Key specifications

• Material: Black anodized aluminium
• Compatibility: EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 - Special Edition
• Includes: backplate, mounting screws, thermal pads
• Design: CNC machined, ribbed surface for enhanced passive cooling

How to use

Remove the graphics card from the system and detach any existing backplate if present. Align the EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 Backplate with the PCB and the mounting points of the EK water block. Place the supplied thermal pads where indicated on the PCB, then secure the backplate with the included screws following the torque recommendations of your graphics card manufacturer. Reinstall the graphics card into the system and verify proper contact between the backplate and the water block for hybrid cooling performance.

Recommendations

Ensure correct placement of thermal pads and do not overtighten screws. Follow anti-static precautions when handling the PCB. This backplate is intended specifically for the EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 - Special Edition water block; compatibility with other cards or blocks is not guaranteed.
