BakkerElkhuizen Q-Riser 50 Circular 76,2 cm työpöytä harmaa

Improve your posture in front of the screen.

The Q-Riser 50 Circular brings your large flatscreen to the correct, ergonomic height. After adjusting the correct height of your screen, it is necessary to check if your eye level is still below the top of the monitor, otherwise simply adjust the distance. With the correct ergonomic screen position, you will directly improve your posture in front of the screen and prevent strain on the muscles in your neck and shoulders. Adjust your monitor screen to the correct height, angle, and distance so that you automatically adopt an ergonomically correct posture. An optimised monitor position works a lot more comfortably and increases productivity by 10% compared with poor placement (Sommerich et al., 1998).

Ergonomic background

Distance between your eyes and the screen should be 50-80 cm (approximately an arm length), depending on monitor size and resolution. Adjust the distance of your screen (VGB DGUV Information 215-410, 2019, S. 93.).The angle of your line of vision to the middle of the screen should be approximately -35°, so also adjust the height of your screen (VGB DGUV Information 215-410, 2019, S.46.).

Sustainable material.

The Q-Riser 50 Circular is an environmentally friendly product. This monitor stand consists of 100 % recycled materials. It is made of PET-felt, which is made from 100% recycled PET bottles. At a glance PET-felt material appears soft but is guaranteed that the Q-Riser 50 Circular is as strong as other materials for example acrylic. The PET-felt is robust, easy to clean, UV stabilized and not easily flammable. The grey mottled material makes the Q-Riser 50 Circular a nice accessory on every desk, for the fixed workplace, the shared-desk or for your home-office.

… from the plastic bottle to our circular line product

Plastic bottles are collected, shredded, and processed into flakes. Those are processed again into a granulate, and out of this, PET felt sheets are made for our "Circular-Line products". Those products can be returned to us and recycled. In short, 100% resource-efficient

How to use

Place the Q-Riser 50 Circular on a stable desk surface and position your flatscreen so its base rests fully within the 300 x 250 mm platform. Ensure the monitor sits centrally and securely on the riser. The freestanding design requires no tools; simply lift the display onto the riser to achieve the 50 mm ergonomic height increase. Check that the combined weight of monitor and stand does not exceed the 10 kg limit.

Recommendations

For optimal ergonomics, adjust your chair and viewing distance so the top third of the screen is at or slightly below eye level. Regularly verify that the monitor base is stable on the riser and avoid placing very small bases off-centre. Clean the recycled PET-felt surface with a soft, dry cloth; avoid soaking or using aggressive chemicals.
