BlueOptics 10GB-F02-SFPP-BO InfiniBand-kuituvalokaapeli 2 m SFP+ SFP+ AOC oranssi

The BlueOptics 10GB-F02-SFPP-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 2 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors on both ends and an orange jacket. Designed for short-range high-speed links, the cable supports 10G data rates over multimode fiber and provides a pre-terminated SFP+ to SFP+ connection that eliminates the need for separate transceivers or patching. The male-to-male SFP+ configuration and MSA-compliant interface ensure mechanical and electrical interoperability with equipment that supports SFP+ AOCs.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC offers a ready-made fibre connection that reduces installation time and removes the need to clean or terminate patch cords. Built to the SFP+ AOC MSA standard, the cable integrates transmitters and receivers in each connector for optical signal transfer over multimode fiber and supports common 10G protocols. The factory-assembled design minimizes attenuation and electromagnetic interference, providing a stable link for data center and networking environments.

Suitable for

• Short-reach 10G links between switches and routers in data centers
• Server-to-switch or storage-to-switch connections using SFP+ ports
• High-density rack deployments where compact SFP+ AOCs simplify cabling

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: SFP+ to SFP+ (male/male)
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with multimode optical transmission
• Jacket color: orange

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 2 m AOC by inserting each SFP+ connector into compatible SFP+ ports on your devices until fully seated. Ensure that connected hardware supports SFP+ AOCs and that ports are enabled for 10G operation. No additional transceivers, fiber termination, or external power is required as the cable contains the necessary optical transceivers within the connectors.

Recommendations

Verify host hardware compatibility and check for required software/firmware support for third-party AOCs before deployment. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain, and keep contact interfaces free of contaminants. For diagnostic access, ensure the host platform supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) if real-time parameters are required.
