BlueOptics 470-13555 InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 3 m SFP+ musta

The BlueOptics 470-13555 InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m SFP+ Black is a 3-metre duplex fibre connection with SFP+ terminations on both ends, designed for high-speed data links in rack, server and switch environments. The cable provides a low-latency, high-bandwidth physical connection for InfiniBand networks and other SFP+-compatible ports, ensuring signal integrity over short to medium distances within data centres and high-performance compute clusters.

Advantages

This BlueOptics InfiniBand cable supports SFP+ interfaces on both ends, delivering consistent performance and compatibility with a wide range of SFP+-capable devices. Its 3 m length offers flexibility for typical rack-to-rack and chassis-to-chassis connections while minimizing excess cabling. The black jacket provides a neutral, professional appearance and helps with cable management. The cable is built for stable optical transmission and is suitable for environments that require reliable, low-latency links.

Suitable for

• Connecting servers, switches and storage nodes in data centres
• High-performance computing (HPC) interconnects using InfiniBand
• Short to medium reach SFP+ optical links within racks or between adjacent racks
• Replacing or upgrading existing SFP+ fibre links

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ on both ends (male-to-male)
• Length: 3 metres
• Cable type: Duplex fibre optic suitable for InfiniBand and SFP+ applications
• Jacket colour: Black
• Designed for low-latency, high-bandwidth optical transmission

How to use

Before installation, verify that both devices support SFP+ optical modules and that the optical link budget is appropriate for a 3 m fibre connection. Align the SFP+ connectors with the ports and insert them until they click into place; ensure the latch mechanisms are fully engaged. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and prevent stress on connectors. When removing the cable, depress the SFP+ latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the port or connector.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short to medium reach optical links in rack environments and follow standard ESD and handling precautions for fibre optics. Avoid bending the cable beyond manufacturer-recommended limits, keep connector end-faces clean, and store unused cables in protective covers to maintain performance and longevity.
