Aktiivinen optinen InfiniBand-kaapeli CBO QSFP-AOC-20M-MT-BO 20 m QSFP-QSFP

CBO QSFP-AOC-20M-MT-BO is a 20 m active optical InfiniBand cable with QSFP to QSFP connectors. It provides an optical link for high-speed server, switch and storage interconnects, offering extended reach compared with copper assemblies while maintaining low power consumption and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable is intended for environments that require reliable short-reach optical links such as data centers and HPC clusters.

Advantages

The active optical design delivers stable high-bandwidth data transmission over a 20 m distance while reducing heat and power draw compared with equivalent copper solutions. Optical transmission reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and offers consistent signal integrity across connections between QSFP ports. The pre-terminated QSFP ends simplify installation and replacement in dense rack environments.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and inter-node connections
• Top-of-rack and leaf-spine switch interconnects in data centers
• High-speed storage arrays and server uplinks
• Short‑reach optical links where reduced EMI and lower power are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP to QSFP
• Link type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 20 meters
• Application: InfiniBand high-speed interconnects
• Transmission: Optical with reduced electromagnetic interference
• Typical use environment: Data centers, HPC clusters, server rooms

How to use

Ensure both QSFP ports are powered down or in a safe state before insertion. Align and insert each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port until the latch engages, then power up the devices and verify link status via device indicators or management software. For removal, power down the link if required by your equipment, press the connector latch and withdraw the plug straight out to avoid stressing the cable assembly. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connector ends.

Recommendations

Install in accordance with your equipment vendor guidelines, maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by the manufacturer, and avoid exposure to excessive heat, moisture or mechanical stress to preserve signal performance and service life.
