Aktiivinen optinen kaapeli CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M 10G SFP+ 1 m

The Active Optical Cable CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M 10G SFP+ 1 m is a factory-terminated optical interconnect designed for direct 10 Gigabit SFP+ links over a one metre distance. It integrates optical transceivers into the cable assemblies to provide a low-loss, high-bandwidth connection between SFP+ ports without separate pluggable transceivers. The 1 m length and lightweight construction reduce rack clutter and cable strain while maintaining signal integrity for short-reach connections in datacenter and enterprise installations.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers the benefits of optical transmission—lower electromagnetic interference and improved signal integrity—combined with the convenience of a direct-attach solution. The integrated design eliminates the need to install separate SFP+ transceivers, simplifying deployment and reducing total cost of ownership for short-distance 10G connections. The cable’s compact form factor and reduced weight make cable management simpler and improve airflow in densely populated racks.

Suitable for

• Short-reach 10G connections between switches and routers in racks
• Server-to-switch links in data centers and enterprise networks
• Interconnects for network appliances with SFP+ ports
• High-density cabling environments where reduced weight and space are required

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ optical direct-attach cable compatible with 10G SFP+ ports
• Transmission speed: 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Length: 1 metre
• Cable type: Active optical cable with integrated optical transceivers
• Signal medium: Optical fiber for short-reach links
• Designed for: Short-distance, high-bandwidth links in datacenter and enterprise environments

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support 10G SFP+ active optical cable connections and that ports are enabled and configured for 10 Gigabit operation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the short 1 m length is intended for within-rack or adjacent-rack connections. No separate transceivers or fiber patch panels are required.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, verify device compatibility with AOC solutions and confirm link settings in device firmware or operating system. Maintain minimum bend radius as specified by the manufacturer and avoid kinking. Use within the intended ambient temperature and handling conditions typical for server rooms and equipment racks.
