Aktiivinen optinen SFP28-kaapeli CBO SFP28-AOC-2M 2 m SFP28 AOC

CBO SFP28-AOC-2M is a 2 meter Active Optical Cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors engineered for short-reach 25 Gbps interconnects between servers, switches and storage devices. The fixed optical assembly integrates fiber and transceivers to deliver low-latency digital signal transmission in a compact, lightweight form factor. This 2 m SFP28 AOC is intended for data center environments such as top-of-rack (ToR) links, switch uplinks and blade chassis connections where predictable 25Gbps performance and small cable diameter are required.

Advantages

The SFP28 AOC provides stable 25 Gbps throughput while reducing electromagnetic interference and heat compared with copper alternatives. As an integrated optical assembly, it simplifies deployment by eliminating separate transceivers and fiber patch cords and reduces cable bulk in dense rack installations. The short fixed length minimizes excess cable management and preserves signal integrity for low-latency applications.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and leaf-spine switch uplinks in data centers
• Server-to-switch high-speed connections
• Interconnects within blade chassis and modular server systems
• Short-reach 25Gbps storage and aggregation links

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 on both ends
• Length: 2 meters
• Data rate: 25 Gbps per lane (short-reach 25Gbps link)
• Media: Active Optical Cable (multimode optical assembly)
• Latency: low-latency optical transmission suitable for server and switch interconnects
• Form factor: fixed cable with integrated transceivers

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOC modules and are powered off or follow hot-swap guidance from the equipment manufacturer. After insertion, verify the link status through device LEDs or management interfaces. For secure operation, avoid sharp bends and maintain the recommended bend radius for optical assemblies.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m SFP28 AOC for short, permanent interconnects inside racks where repeatable 25Gbps performance and minimal cable clutter are priorities. Avoid excessive bending or tension and route the cable within cable management arms or trays to maintain signal integrity and mechanical reliability.
