AOC CBO SFP+ AOC 10G 10 m kuituaktiivinen optinen kaapeli

The AOC CBO SFP+ AOC 10G 10m fiber active optical cable is a factory-terminated SFP+ form-factor link designed to provide reliable 10 Gigabit connectivity over a 10-meter distance. Intended for short-range, high-speed interconnects, this active optical cable supports direct connections between SFP+ ports on switches, servers and storage systems. The optical design reduces electromagnetic interference and signal loss compared with equivalent copper cables, while offering low latency and a plug-and-play installation experience for data center and enterprise networking environments.

Advantages

This SFP+ active optical cable provides consistent 10G throughput across a 10 m span with lower attenuation and immunity to EMI. The lightweight optical construction simplifies cable management in dense racks and reduces weight compared with copper alternatives. Hot-pluggable SFP+ connectors enable quick deployment without additional transceivers or configuration, and the integrated optical transceivers eliminate separate module purchases.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and end-of-row switch-to-switch connections
• Server-to-switch links in data centers and server rooms
• Storage area network (SAN) and direct-attached storage (DAS) uplinks
• High-performance computing clusters and virtualization hosts

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10G)
• Form factor: SFP+ hot-pluggable
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 10 meters
• Connector interface: SFP+ duplex optical
• Operating characteristics: Low latency, reduced electromagnetic interference
• Use environment: Short-range, high-speed interconnects in data centers and enterprise networks

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into compatible SFP+ ports on network devices until it latches; no external power or separate transceivers are required. Devices typically recognize the AOC automatically; verify link negotiation and speed settings on connected equipment if necessary. Route the 10 m cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; follow equipment vendor guidelines for port compatibility and firmware versions to ensure optimal operation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid tight bends and physical stress on the fiber segments, maintain clean connector end-faces, and use the cable within the specified 10 m distance. Confirm device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules and keep firmware updated on switches and servers to ensure proper link negotiation and diagnostics.
