BlueOptics AXC7601-10000S-BO InfiniBand-kuitu-kaapeli 1 m SFP+ uros

The BlueOptics AXC7601-10000S-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m SFP+ Male is an active optical cable (AOC) designed for short-reach high-speed links in professional networking environments. With SFP+ to SFP+ connectivity and a 1 meter length, this cable supports 10G-class transmission over multimode fibre and is intended for connecting servers, switches and storage systems where minimal signal loss and predictable latency are required.

Advantages

This AOC provides a compact, factory-terminated SFP+ to SFP+ connection that integrates transmitter and receiver modules at each end, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. The 1 m length reduces excess cabling in dense rack environments and helps maintain signal integrity for 10G applications. The cable is compatible with devices that follow SFP+ MSA physical interface standards and is designed to deliver consistent performance for Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet and SDH/SONET high-speed links up to 10 Gbit/s.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics AXC7601-10000S-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be linked, ensuring the connector latch engages fully. Verify that the connected devices support SFP+ MSA-compliant active optical cables and configure interface settings on the devices if required. Monitor link LEDs and device interfaces to confirm a stable 10G link; replace the cable if physical damage or persistent link errors occur.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode AOCs. Use the 1 m length to minimise excess slack in dense racks and keep connectors free from dust when not in use. For compatibility, confirm device support for 10G SFP+ AOCs and check firmware notes from your hardware vendor if link negotiation issues appear.
