BlueOptics CBL-10GSFP-AOC-25M-BO InfiniBand-kuituvalokaapeli SFP+ 25 m

The BlueOptics CBL-10GSFP-AOC-25M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable SFP+ 25m is a 25-metre active optical cable designed for high-speed connectivity in data centre and enterprise networking environments. With SFP+ form-factor connectors and an InfiniBand-compatible interface, this cable supports low-latency, high-throughput links between switches, servers and storage systems. The plug-and-play male connectors enable straightforward installation without additional transceivers, making it suitable for short- to medium-reach interconnects where consistent signal integrity is required.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers high bandwidth and low latency for performance-sensitive applications while reducing electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The integrated SFP+ connectors simplify deployment and eliminate the need for separate SFP+ modules. Its 25 m length provides flexibility in rack-to-rack or aisle-to-aisle cabling within data centre layouts, and the optical design supports reliable transmission over extended periods with minimal signal degradation.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into compatible SFP+ ports on networking equipment until the connector locks in place. Ensure ports are powered down or follow hot-plug guidelines provided by the equipment manufacturer if inserting into live systems. Verify link lights and device diagnostics after connection to confirm proper negotiation and link speed. Remove the cable by depressing the release mechanism on the connector and gently withdrawing it from the port.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Keep optical connector ends clean and protected when not in use to preserve signal quality. For best results in multi-vendor environments, confirm SFP+ port compatibility and firmware support for active optical cables on both ends before deployment.
