BlueOptics CBL-325-BO InfiniBand-/kuituoptinen kaapeli 25 m SFP+ uros/uros

The BlueOptics CBL-325-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 25 m SFP+ Male/Male is a single cable solution intended for high-speed optical connections in server rooms, data centres and network racks. With SFP+ male connectors on both ends and a 25 metre length, this cable supports long-reach interconnects between switches, storage arrays and hosts while maintaining signal integrity typical for InfiniBand and 10 Gigabit-class interfaces.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low-latency, high-bandwidth performance suitable for demanding network traffic. Its SFP+ male-to-male configuration ensures straightforward plug-and-play installation into compatible SFP+ ports. The 25 m length offers flexibility in rack-to-rack or room-to-room connections without requiring additional patching equipment, and optical transmission reduces electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives.

How to use

Inspect the cable ends and SFP+ ports on your devices for compatibility and cleanliness before insertion. With both devices powered down or in accordance with your equipment hot-plug guidelines, align each SFP+ connector with the corresponding port and insert until it seats securely. Verify link status on connected devices and configure network settings as required by your infrastructure. When removing the cable, disengage any latch mechanisms and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector.

Recommendations

Use appropriate transceivers and ensure matching optical types on both ends (single-mode or multi-mode) for reliable performance. Avoid tight bends and protect the cable from sharp edges or pinch points. Store coiled at a gentle radius and label both ends for easier maintenance and troubleshooting in rack environments.
