CBO InfiniBand/AOC SFP28 kaapeli CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-20M-BO 20 m aqua

The CBO InfiniBand/AOC SFP28 cable CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-20M-BO is a 20 metre active optical cable terminated with SFP28 connectors, designed for 25 Gbps links in data centres and server clusters. It supports InfiniBand and SFP28 interfaces, offering low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference. Compared with copper alternatives, this Aqua-coloured optical cable delivers extended reach and consistent signal quality for switch-to-switch, switch-to-server and storage interconnects.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides reliable 25 Gbps performance with reduced latency and improved signal integrity over longer distances. Its optical construction eliminates common-cause radio frequency interference and crosstalk found in copper assemblies, helping maintain stable links in dense rack environments. The lightweight, flexible cable is easier to route in tight conduits and contributes to better airflow and cable management in data centre installations.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting the SFP28 connectors into compatible SFP28 ports on switches, servers or storage devices until the connector latches. Route the 20 m optical cable following rack and conduit guidelines to avoid sharp bends; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer. No external power is required beyond the host SFP28 port power provided by connected devices. Verify link status and speed through device management interfaces after connecting.

Recommendations

Use this cable for intra-rack and inter-rack 25 Gbps links where optical reach, EMI immunity and low latency are required. Avoid repeated tight bending and excessive pulling force. Confirm SFP28 port compatibility and firmware support on network devices before deployment.
