CBO InfiniBand-kaapeli AA1404031-E6-BL 3 m QSFP musta

CBO InfiniBand Cable AA1404031-E6-BL 3 m QSFP black is a fixed-length connection cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand links between switches, servers and storage systems. The 3 m length and QSFP endface provide a direct external link suitable for data center interconnects and high performance computing (HPC) environments. The cable is supplied in black and supports a copper or active optical implementation as provided by the manufacturer, delivering a straightforward physical layer for short-reach QSFP interconnects.

Advantages

This 3 m QSFP cable offers a purpose-built solution for short-reach InfiniBand connections, combining a consistent, fixed length with QSFP connectivity for easy deployment. Its design reduces cable management complexity in dense rack environments and ensures predictable signal transmission characteristics. Black outer jacket improves visual uniformity in installations while the QSFP interface provides compatibility with standard QSFP ports on switches, servers and storage devices.

Suitable for

• Short-reach InfiniBand connections between rack-mounted switches and servers
• Direct server-to-storage links in data center racks
• High performance computing clusters requiring QSFP links
• Environments needing fixed-length, low-latency external interconnects

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable)
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket color: black
• Physical type: fixed-length external cable
• Transmission medium: copper or active optical (as supplied by manufacturer)
• Typical application: InfiniBand high-speed links for data centers and HPC

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on the networking equipment until the connector latches. Ensure both ends are seated firmly and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and stress points. For initial deployment, power down or follow hot-plug procedures recommended by your equipment vendor if supported, verify link status in device management interfaces, and monitor for expected data rates. Use standard cable management hardware to secure the 3 m cable within racks and pathways to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the QSFP ports on your switches, servers and storage before installing. Observe manufacturer guidelines for bend radius and operating temperature. For mission-critical deployments, test link performance and error rates after installation and keep spare cables of the same type available to reduce downtime.
